Advice for family who's been cheated on and riped off?

one of my family recently founded out that she was cheated by her husband. They are in divorce proceeding right now, and her husband wanted to claim half of marital assets, even though about 90% of their joint asset are earned by her. While it's true under the law he is entitled to half of everything they own, she feel given the fact that he cheated, he should at least be apologetic (which he is definitely not right now, in fact, he has just moved that uber classy other woman into the house they shared and flaunt the whole thing right in front of her) and only take away what he put into the marriage. anyway, she is feeling really hurt and angry right now and she is thinking about fighting him in court, even if it means she'll used up all her remaining resources. While i can relate to and understand what she is feeling right now, i honestly donut think that a good idea, as the likelihood of her winning is small, and the only people that will be laughing by the end the this is her lawyers, is there a good way for me to help her let go of the hurt she is experiencing and allow her get into a state where she could make objective decisions that is best for her?

What Country Sangers Got You In Country Music?

I think country music was on the radio in the room when I was born! I grew up going to the Louisiana Hayride in Shreveport, LA and listening to the Grand Ole Opry on the radio. I was fortunate at a very young age to see the Carter family, Hank Williams, Sr and Jim Reeves. As a teenager, Jim Reeves was my favorite. After he died in late summer of 1964 I continued to be a fan of his recordings until the later part of the 60's when a young Texas singer first hit my country music radar screen: Gene Watson. Gene was a huge favorite regionally around Houston, TX and when I would visit my cousins there we often went to see Gene and his band (which was not called the Farewell Party Band at the time). It came as no surprise to me when Gene's talent hit the big time in the mid-70's and although I have never been a huge fan of his first big hit, "Love In The Hot Afternoon", I did like the release just prior to that of "Bad Water". "Where Love Begins", "Farewell Party", and "Got No Reason Now For Going Home" have been life long favorites. While I like "Paper Rosie" and "14 Carat Mind", they are not usually on my list of favorite Gene Watson songs. The fact that Gene Watson is still singing and recording traditional country music is amazing to me all these years later. His 2009 album "A Taste Of The Truth" is a treasure and it's hard to pick a favorite from that album but if I had to, I'd say it's "I Know An Ending". His newest release with Rhonda Vincent "Your Money And My Good Looks" has 11 of the greatest country duets I've heard since Conway and Loretta! So here I am in my mid-60's and I'm still a Gene Watson music fan!

Ballet variations similar to Giselle?

Last year I competed in the Youth America Grand Prix with the Act I giselle variation. And I did pretty good actually. I'm competing again this year, and I'm looking for a variation similar to Giselle. When I say similar I mean more character wise, because I absolutely cannot do that "spicy kitri" type character. Then she came to my town and lived with her dad. Once her mom was out, and got back into her life, my friend started doing bad things. Her grades started droppIng and she started having sex with older guys, sneaking out with them, and drinking.. I have always been a good girl. I do fight with my parents but it's not bad. I don't smoke. I don't drink. I don't sneak out. I am to shy to even talk to guys my age let alone older ones. And never have I even thought about drugs. And my friend has always called me the braniac because I am always on the a honor roll and I love to read. So I decided I didn't want a friend who does all those bad habits. I told her this. And all freshman year I didn't talk to her. I had made new friends. We were all close. She made friends with another druggie (who also was the same girl who almost wrecked our friendship Many times) and started doing drugs. At the time thought my life was perfect. I had great friends and still on the A honor roll. Mean while my old best friend was doing drugs, screwing 21 year old guys, and going to juvie. Lately though I realize how miserable I am. My "amazing friends" barely ask me to hang out.. And I have no one to tell anything to.. I miss her so much.. And it's my fault she's not even my friend. After I stopped talking to her she tried so hard to be my friend. She begged and said shed changed but I said no. She's now has moved on and has a best friend druggie and she too is a druggie but 4 years of friendship and I miss her. I want to tell her I miss her and want to be her friend again.. But I'm scared. Because I know if I ask for her friendship back then eventually I'll ask her to stop doing drugs and older men and I'll ask her to give up her old druggie friends. But I can't do that to her. I think im possibly pregnant, im 3 days late for my period. Yesterday i spotted once ( a small drop) and im having on and off cramps and lower back pain. Yes, it's possible. With the economy the way it is. I think there would be quite a few women who don't want kids. I have four of them, but if I had to do it again, I would not have any. My ex husband and i have been divorce for 2 years we ave 2 wonderful kids a 13 year old son with autism and a 15 year old daughter. These past two years have been hell for me and my ex we both have joint custody and right now my daugther is currently in therapy. My daughter has started dated this boy he's a senior in high school i think hes a bad influence on her my ex and i forbid her from seeing him but that didn't work. She has gotten really rebellious her behavior change after her best friend died in a car accident they were really close like sisters. She started drinking, partying and failing school i caught her drinking a bottle of wine i grounded her for a month but that didn't work out so i let her live with her father for awhile. One day she unexpectedly came to my house sobbing telling me her father touched her my ex denies it he was arrested and charged with child abuse i overheard talking to her friends joking and lauging on how she lied to me about how her dad touched her and that i was so stupid!!!! I git mad and got er to admit what she did she told me the truth she apologized to her father and the charges was dropped but that wasn't enough she caused so much heartache in this family its not even funny. I am so burnt out right now i don't know what to do with her i have failed as a mother i provide so much for my kids i love them very much i will do anythhing for them between her behavior and my son's autism my ex and i are out of options i know what she is going through been there done that but what can my ex and i do as her parents to snapped her out of it?

Shea butter cream is lumpy?

I tried making a cloth diaper friendly diaper rash cream and I used raw Shea butter as the main ingredient. I used raw Shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, aveeno colloidal ointment ( mixed with a little water to make it pasty) and a little bit of lanolin. BAH After Divorce in the Army?

I have filed for divorce in Texas, and it will be final after 60 days. I am an E-4, collecting the BAH W/DEP rate. Both my wife and I are on a lease off post that will last another 10 months. I currently have an allotment set up for the total BAH W/DEP amount that goes into her account since the rent comes out of her account. The landlord will not let me off the lease, and she has no way of paying the rent without me, and I cannot afford to pay anything without BAH. My question is, when the divorce is final, can I put in a 4187 to change to the without dependents rate for length of the lease since that was done prior to my BAH entitlement ending, or am I just SOL and going to have to go into debt with breaking a lease and having that on my credit? Fort Hood doesn't authorize BAH usually unless you are E-6 and above, and S1 wasn't any help at all when I asked them this question. If anyone has a definitive answer, or a reference on the reg governing this it would be appreciated. I am deploying very soon and need to make sure I'm not going to get screwed while I'm gone. Well my only suggestion is tan! You have to go outside and lay out. Try laying out for and hour or two everyday. 12-2 are the hours where there is the most sun. Well it depends on where you are. I live down south in one of the hot states with all the beaches. If there is not enough sun where you live try a tanning bed. Maybe try working out outside? Or taking a jog in the sun? If you live near a beach take a run on the beach! It's a great way to get a tan and work out.

Stomach pain and illness causing depression...?

I have had ulcers and excess stomach acid since I was 3 years old. I am now 22. I have never been diagnosed with any specific disease, but have been given tegament, prevacid, and a few other antacids. These tend to work for a while, and then it seems to what I would call flare up. My symptoms include stomach pain (mostly in the morning) loss of appetite, and occasiaonlly diarrhea. This is getting to the point where it is hard for me to function. At one point I quit drinking coffee, pop, and eating my favorite spicy foods. This did nothing. I am usually a very happy go lucky person, but this is really brining me down. I should also mention I have some bright blood when I wipe. I have seen a doctor and am currently in the process of finidng a gastroenterologist in the area. Does anyone have any idea or similar symptoms of what this could be? I am at a loss..:(

(ever since i can remember our first computer hes always hated seeing me on it, i recall beeing in the 6th grade and asking to use it for a research paper and he got so mad that he picked up the monitor and threw it in my bedroom. now..back to what i was saying..he asked what i was doing and i said "school work, my bf lent me his internet port so i could do it" and he said "uh no u can do your work in your bedroom, i know you, you get distrated easily" and i said "im not dad, im just doin my school work and then ill get off, i'll only be another 15-20mins max and ill be done" and he said "well why cant you do it in your room?" and i said "its easier to do it this way, its faster" and he said "well i dont want you on MY computer, get off" and i said "i dont see what the problem is, everyones in bed and im doing school work, whats wrong with that?" and he said "idc i dont want you on it. GET OFF" and so i shut my book and tossed it up on the counter, and he easily assumed that i was throwing it even though he was standing 5 feet away and watched me. and said "dont cop an attitude with me" and i said "i just dont see what the big deal is" and at that point my mother came out and said "wth is going on?" then told us both to stop it, i pushed the computer chair back over to the desk (not hard i just put my hand on the back of it, pushed it and it BARELY tapped the desk, my dad looked at me and said "OH YOU WANNA SLAM SH**? How to deal with my horrible mother?

So my mother complains all the time that she does not have anyone to take care of her and pamper atleast one whole day (since my parents are divorced she gets very lonely). (ever since i can remember our first computer hes always hated seeing me on it, i recall beeing in the 6th grade and asking to use it for a research paper and he got so mad that he picked up the monitor and threw it in my bedroom. now..back to what i was saying..he asked what i was doing and i said "school work, my bf lent me his internet port so i could do it" and he said "uh no u can do your work in your bedroom, i know you, you get distrated easily" and i said "im not dad, im just doin my school work and then ill get off, i'll only be another 15-20mins max and ill be done" and he said "well why cant you do it in your room?" and i said "its easier to do it this way, its faster" and he said "well i dont want you on MY computer, get off" and i said "i dont see what the problem is, everyones in bed and im doing school work, whats wrong with that?" and he said "idc i dont want you on it. GET OFF" and so i shut my book and tossed it up on the counter, and he easily assumed that i was throwing it even though he was standing 5 feet away and watched me. and said "dont cop an attitude with me" and i said "i just dont see what the big deal is" and at that point my mother came out and said "wth is going on?" then told us both to stop it, i pushed the computer chair back over to the desk (not hard i just put my hand on the back of it, pushed it and it BARELY tapped the desk, my dad looked at me and said "OH YOU WANNA SLAM SH**? When you have your own kid, you can be a good mom, but you can't stop her from screwing up her own kid. Some people are just selfish and dumb and they feed their kid whatever is easiest in the short-term. Sure, feeding him junk is easy, real easy, so that's what they do. About 2 weeks ago I have noticed on the top of both my front 2 teeth I have discolured yellowish spots that are quite sensitive to the touch. They are also slightly indented to the rest of my tooth. I brush my teeth twice a daily and have corsodyl mouthwash and have also had a healthy mouth. I have also started to notice that my tongue has a 'cracked' appearance is sore when I eat spicy food which is not normal for me. Any suggestions??

whenever you fry anything, you have to dip the food into flour first, then the egg, then back into the flour or bread crumbs or whatever you're using....good luck and have fun....and oh, don't turn the heat to high. For breakfast I had 3 eggs in a burrito wrap, for lunch I just had a sandwich with a small bag of lays, and for dinner I'm having spicy chicken sandwiches, all of this averages out to 1500 calories. No you are not being spoiled it sounds like you may have a serious medical condition. If you can then you should see a doctor. There is nothing wrong with a child being taken care of by her mother when she's sick. I'm sure if your mom was sick you would try to comfort her. Stinky pickles - what the hell is that spice?

One of my favourite restaurants changed their pickles in the last few months. I like pickles - kosher, garlic, bread/butter, spicy, etc. But these pickles are...awful. Shape/colourwise, they are sliced lengthwise, translucent, light green, not crispy. But there's a spice in there that is just...nasty. Like sweat and bile mixed together. They are horribly pungent. The smell lingers in your nose. I picked it off my burger a couple of times, and the smell/taste lingers on the burger, and also on my fingers (even after multiple washings). I had thought maybe it was a bad batch, but they are still serving them, and I honestly think they are supposed to be that way. I now tell them "NO pickle", but I am just dying to know what the heck kind of pickles these are, and what that spice/flavour is. Does anyone have an idea? Thanks!

I don't like my parents buying things for me, is that bad?

My parents are divorced, my mom works a lot and doesn't earn enough money. Hi there. Over the past 8 months I have used my initiative and went about changing my looks. I started off on my body, and worked really hard, and therefore have obtained a six pack and really nice big arms. So yes, I have got myself a really nice toned body which I did not have 8 months ago. Now, I want to improve on my face. I have natural light/pasty/pale skin, compared to dark tanned skin which people tend to love more. I have a really good diet (seeing as I have spent the last 8 months working on my body) consisting of plenty of fruit, vegetables, water, as well as green tea. Obviously I also have a required intake of protein, and I always eat proper meals. I also get good sleep and regular sunlight. However, I still have light/pasty skin. Is there anything I can do to get rid of my pasty/pale/light skin? To look good and to change my looks is my dream :)

My fiancee and I have been engaged for now a year and 6 months and are less than a month from being united in a civil union/domestic partnership. So, I asked if he would be comfortable with setting up a "Prenup" of a sort to protect us both from the possibility of the infidelity of the other. I know it sounds like I'm accusing him of being unfaithful, but it seems only the responsible thing to do as more than 40% of marriages fail. Needless to say, things didn't go well.
