How much damage will dying my hair platinum blonde/white cause?

i think it would look ok on you, but to make sure you dont ruin your hair definitely go to a hairdresser. bleach can be really scary if you dont know what you are doing, but if you do decide to do it at home get a quality bleach kit from a beauty supply store and you will probably have to bleach it twice and use a toner to get all the brassy color out. and always start with the underneath part of your hair and then the top, then the roots.
