Stretchy discharge am i doin good?

So, i had sex soon as i noticed eggwhite discharge. The day after that, it turned pasty like..not even sticky anymore..did i do good if i wanted to conceive?? That was the only day i had the eggwhite discharge. So i heard the day you see this clear stretchy mucus, u suppose to have sex immediately..i did..i heard the egg survives 24hrs. So i hope i did good in tryin to conceive.. Please help in givin information plz. :) my period suppose to show 29th, but i have a great feelin of it not showin.
